“PUSH HONEY, PUSH!”

Shell is pregnant!  Not that all of the people who read my blog do not already know this but I thought I should post it.  She is in her 14th week (40 weeks total I am told).

She is due on October 20th.  We have decided that we are going to find out the sex of the baby.  Our friends gave us the idea of having the doc put the result in an envelope so that we can open it over dinner at a nice restaurant.  Ultimately I would prefer to find out at delivery but I did not want to argue with the emotional pregnant lady over it.  Pick your battles, right?

So far for names we are undecided on the girl but think we have the boys name locked down.  If it is a boy we like Zoltan Peter Vincent.  We wanted to go with something unconventional.  If he doesn’t like it he can go by Pete or Zee.  Girl names are more difficult as we each like about six.

I keep going back and forth on wanting a boy vs. a girl.  When I play with little girls like my niece or the Penner kids, I want a girl.  When I see a teenage girl, I immediately want a boy.  Girls that are older than 10 scare me.  Boys just seem to be easier and make more sense.

Either way, I am absolutely STOKED!

Below is a pregnancy test brownie!  Yummm! It is how we told our small group.
