Imagine leaving a room completey drenched in sweat with not a single square millimeter of your body dry. As a matter of fact if you were to ring out your clothes it would easily fill the majority of a pint sized glass.
Such was my experience on Firday afternoon for 90 minutes. A friend told me about (actually more dared me) a type of yoga that you do in a 105 degree room. I took the challenge on and I loved it.
The heat was definitely something you have to mentally get over just as much as physically. The effects it has on your body are very euphoric and relaxing. The class is a combination of 26 stretches that are done in the 90 minutes. Some are very easy and feel great while others are more challenging. The results feel great. Even today I can feel a difference in my body. I must admit that the best part comes when you walk out of that 105 degree room. I had a sensation of pure relaxation and comfort when that cool air hit my body. The rest of the day I felt awesome.
If you are up for a little challenge I highly suggest a session of Bikram Yoga. You can find a location near you at www.bikramyoga.com
If you want a friend to go with you hit me up.

Let's get together this week.

When we get back, you're taking Jonathan!! :) He has a bad back and has a horrible habit of throwing it out. We've been trying to do yoga and pilates via the internet. Are you going to be a regular?
and did MY brother really say that sounded like fun...???!!
