There is a pastor at my church who often times prays using nothing but scripture. I really admire how he does this, let alone can remember that much scripture. That is what this little book is like, a prayer of scripture. The passages are short and there is a reading for morning and evening.
The book was given to our entire family. So many times over the past years I have been over at a family members house or in their car and seen their copy of Daily Light. The leather is not so new anymore and the pages are worn like a used Bible. Obviously many have incorporated it into their devotions as I have.
I just wanted to share this family connecting 'tradition' of sorts. It is pretty cool to think that on any given day your loved ones are reading the same scriptures as you. I won't even begin to tell you how many countless times the reading for the day encouraged or enlightened my day.

Quinn and I have a little tradition with Daily Light. During his early morning feed and late evening feed I read it to him. It's been very special!
